I didn't want a large, boomy, home theater kind of sub. I wanted a tight, accurate, musical, sealed-box unit that would fill in from 40hz on down, which is where my Von Schweikert stand-mounted speakers begin to roll off. Set-up was a snap. The app is intuitive and makes it easy to dial in exactly what you need. Thank you for a great product.

I'd rate it 20 stars if I could. What an amazing experience!
After doing some research and consulting with Ed at SVS, I bought a single 3000 Micro to supplement my floorstanding Focals (which are rated down to the low 30Hz region), and I can't even describe what a huge difference it makes in my system! The sound across the entire frequency spectrum just flows much better, and not only is there more bass impact as you might expect, but imaging and bloom have improved too. Why? I suspect it has a lot to do with allowing me to put the foam plugs into the ports on the Focals, which eliminated some mild chuffing and helped integrate the sub even more seamlessly. Things were up and running within a few minutes, and evolved comfortably over the following few days into a well-integrated presentation that smoothed out much of my room's uneven response.... A couple of months after the initial setup, I've made some small adjustments at various times and now feel it's as near to perfect as it can get. The sub is sonically invisible and visually it blends well into the corner it lives in. Speaking of placement, it almost didn't seem to matter where I put the 3000-- it sounded just as good in every position I was able to try in my room. The speaker is very fast with no noticeable overhang and very little resonance, but it packs a huge wallop and can vibrate the entire house when called upon to do so. Setup took some work and experimenting as it would with any sub, but was amazingly simple and fun because of the genius app, which allowed all the settings to be adjusted and/or recalled instantly from the listening seat. The controls allow for a vast amount of tweaking without being overwhelming, and since I could save multiple presets and quickly switch between them, I felt free to experiment with different approaches without any fear of messing up a good thing! My only "wish" for the app would be for one or two more bands in the EQ so I could apply a bit more fine-tuning to my slightly wonky room (perhaps a future app update?), but overall the EQ and phase adjustment tools were intuitive and extremely impactful. TIP: Don't ignore the phase, even 5 degrees made a noticeable difference for me! Ed and the team at SVS provided a flawless and amazing experience. From initial contact to purchase to after-sales setup advice, I couldn't have asked for better support. Communication was clear and extremely fast, and the sub arrived well-packed in record time. Ed's advice was spot-on, and he clearly has a vast knowledge of how the products work. I went into this experiment hoping for a mild tweak to the sound in my room and expecting a small-ish improvement in low-end extension. What I got was nothing short of a revolution, I honestly feel like I got an upgrade to my entire speaker system for a very low price! If you're considering adding a subwoofer (or replacing an older one), you can't go wrong with SVS!

While deciding on my subwoofer, I was torn between two mini's that were being compared on every review. KEF KC62 and SVS 3000 micro. I kept reading reviews, dreaming about Subs. Almost purchased a KEF online since there were no SVS dealer or no stock for SVS mini in Singapore 3 months or so ago from today. Fortunately, I found that I can order the SVS 3000 Micro subwoofer on Amazon Singapore and the shipping charges were not very high. Only problem was the voltage. Yet I went ahead and purchased it. I contacted SVS asking them about the voltage and they sent me detailed instructions on which cable / connector to pull out and convert my Sub to 220V that work in Singapore. I am very impressed at the prompt response and the instructions. The package arrived, I was able to open up a brand new sub and put it back. The sound didn't seem right at first. I tried various combinations on the app. And then reached out to SVS again with the specs of my set up and the details or the receiver along with the surround speaker set up. What came back again very promptly from what I think is the best customer service team in the world was detailed instructions. Extremely precise and detailed on how I could set up the entire speaker system using YPAO since I am using Yamaha receivers. The other thing I realised that the speakers do take a time to break-in. My friend mentioned this to me and I found out that they actually sounded better and better as the weeks went by. The lows were more defined and the sound filled the room. When there were loud booms or bass I had to be very careful so that the room does not shake and the neighbours are not disturbed. I couldn't believe the output from this tiny cuboid. These Subwoofers blew my earlier Onkyo sub out of the water. I know now what I was missing to complete my complete Yamaha Soavo set of speakers that I sourced from Dubai. The Sub is currently hiding behind my leather chair. Invisible to the guests but filling the room with beautiful rumble when I need it. I am not a big fan or huge Subs. I think it just clutters the space with a black mass and most of them do not have a good finish and end up looking ominous. What I admire about this Sub is the beautiful, compact design and the finish. It is premium all the way. Very 'Applesque'. It is worth showing off to your audiophile friends. Controlling the sub with the app is a breeze once you know the right settings. Contact SVS and they will help you, I am sure. If I had ten stars, I would give it to SVS with my eyes closed especially to the customer service team. This review was long over due. I must speak about about the opposing drivers. They do not rattle and shake the micro sub at any given point. The sub does not move or jump around at high settings. You may feel the room shake and rumble but the cube does not seem to budge an inch. If you touch it you can feel it slightly. It is a marvel of engineering. I love the way the driver moves the air around. If you are looking for discretion with your set up, don't look any further. Go for SVS Micro 3000. Get the team to guide you. Kick back, relax and enjoy the sound!
