New Record Day, one of the most respected audio reviewers in the YouTube community, did an excruciatingly detailed, 2-part review of the SVS Ultra Bookshelf Speaker that included an actual “What’s Inside” approach where he disassembled the speaker to view each individual component. Aside from raving about the attention to detail, sound and build quality, he summed up the performance by stating: |
“In so many ways, it’s a no-compromise, fantastic option for anyone that’s into two-channel stereo, home theater, Hi-Fi enthusiasts, you name it.”

SVS PC-4000 Subwoofer Offers Bass Perfection for Reviewer Who’s Tight on Space. |
|
The publisher of popular audiophile lifestyle site, TONE Audio, wanted to unleash reference level bass in his bedroom but didn’t have the space for a large subwoofer so he brought an SVS PC-4000 subwoofer in for review, resulting in this:
|
“Digs down deep. Even in a larger room, it was easy to achieve concert hall levels, and we could not drive the PC-4000 to clipping or exceed the woofers excursion levels. Excellent upper bass response, with low coloration, making it easy to mate with a wide range of main speakers. If you need bass, and floor space is at a premium, the SVS PC-4000 is the way to go.” |

On the heels of their full review of the SVS SB-3000 subwoofer, popular audiophile news site Positive Feedback did a “Part 2” after adding the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System and were shocked by the difference they made, stating: |
“There was really no comparison to the sound with the stock footers. I heard a cleaner, clearer presentation with better leading edge definition, the transients were sharper. A couple of annoying occasional room resonances went away. Mid-bass was enriched, and timing improved. Micro detail was enhanced, and easier to distinguish." |

30 years ago this week, Public Enemy dropped “Fear of a Black Planet”, one of the edgiest, fiercest and most controversial hip-hop albums ever produced. Many consider it the pinnacle of political rap yet the musical artistry with guitars, stereo mixing, big snare drums and more influenced countless artists who followed. We’d especially like to give props to @ShockleeOfficial, Public Enemy Co-Founder/Producer and SVS owner (shown here with SVS President Gary Yacoubian), for helping create the signature sound on this iconic album! #svs #publicenemy #soundrevolution Tag @SVS_Sound or #SoundRevolution on Instagram and we may include in a future newsletter. |
