Soundstage

In terms of audio reproduction, this is a speaker system’s ability to simulate a realistic three-dimensional sound space with apparent width, depth, and height. A related term is “imaging,” which refers to a speaker system’s ability to simulate the placement of individual sounds within the soundstage. A convincing soundstage with good imaging generally requires two or more speakers.
